In DC, Richie Rich is synonymous with D Tribe, and D Tribe is synonymous with Flavor. As co-owner, co-founder and the House coordinator for D Tribe productions, Richie Rich is not only one of DCs most recognized promoters, but also one of the most talented and flavorful House DJs to hit the Capitals scene in the last year.
Having been born and raised in and around DC, Richie has seen and felt the impact of electronica on today’s generation and most especially on himself, helping him find a unique style akin to DC and it’s people. Initially starting out by spinning Jazzy Jungle, Richie has extended his skills into old school, Latin and Funky House, and just for some added flavor, he usually throws in a taste of Breaks. With influences extending from such DJs as Paul Johnson, Richie’s flavor is so diverse that he’ll keep you guessing from one set to the next.
